Day 01 Negombo
Meet at the airport by our representative and transfer to hotel in Negombo for one night.
30 min from Airport to the hotel. Beach stay or evening negombo city tour.
Day 02 Elephant orphanage
After breakfast leave for Sigiriya for 3 nights.
A visit to this fantastic Elephant orphanage near Kegalle is a must! 20 km (12 miles) west of Kandy on the Colombo Highway, this is where young orphaned or abandoned elephants are cared for. The herd numbers are usually around 50, from tiny infants (tiny in elephant terms, that is) to hefty adolescents and young adults.
Day 03 Sigiriya – Anuradhapura
After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura for cultural sightseeing and visit Mihintale
Anuradhapura – The capital of Sri Lanka from the 05th Century B.C. to the end of the 10th Century A.D. was the most celebrated of Sri Lanka’s ancient ruined cities. The city’s greatest treasures are its dagobas constructed of bricks and are hemispherical in shape. The most notable of these dagobas are the Ruvanveliseya dating back to the 2nd Century B.C. and is 300 feet in diameter, the Jetawanarama is 370 feet and the Thuparama Dagoba is enshrined with the collarbone of the Buddha. The city’s most renowned relic is the sacred Bo Tree, which is said to have grown from a branch of the tree under which the Buddha gained Enlightenment. It was planted 2250 years ago and is the oldest historically authenticated tree in the world. Anuradhapura is a “World Heritage Site”.
Mihintale – is 140 miles from Colombo, 8 miles from Anuradhapura. Mihintale is called the “Cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka”- it was here that the Buddhist doctrine was first preached in here by the monk ‘Mahinda’, son of Asoka, Emperor of India, to King Devanampiyatissa more than 2000 years ago. Mihintale – ‘the hill of Mahinda’ is approached by a magnificent, wide, ancient stone stairway of 1,840 steps. This is the World’s first declared sanctuary from 247 B.C. and continues to be one up to this day.
Day 04 Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa
After breakfast climb the Sigiriya rock. In the afternoon visit Polonnaruwa.
Sigiriya Rock – Sigiriya Rock Fortress is situated in the north central province belong to the “Cultural Triangle” in the dry lowlands of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya Rock known as Lion’s Rock and considered by some as the eighth Wonder of the World. Sigiriya contains the ruins of an ancient palace complex. Built during the reign of King Kasyapa (477-495 AD). On the west of the rock are ponds the remains of summer palaces and other structures, and the first part of the ancient road, which lead to its impressive summit.
Polonnaruwa – The second Ancient Capital of Sri Lanka. Visit Royal Pavilion, Thuparamaya, Watadagaya (circular stupa), Uththararamaya (Galvehare) where the reclining Buddha statue, Lankathilanka – the oldest buddhist temple etc.
Day 05 Dambulla – Kandy
After breakfast leave for Kandy on route visit Dambulla cave temple. In the evening visit Tooth Relic Temple and the Cultural show in Kandy. Overnight stay at Kandy.
Dambulla cave temple also known as theGolden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 km east of Colombo and 72 km north of Kandy. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka
Tooth Relic Temple – The sacred Tooth Relic, housed in the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy is an object of veneration to Buddhists and the most important sacred relic in the country. The temple is one of the most sacred places in the world for Buddhists.
Day 06 Kandy
After breakfast visit Botanical Garden Peradeniya and city tour in Kandy.
Peradeniya Botanical Garden- This is a much visited and acclaimed botanical garden, which is also good for birds. It is bounded on three sides by the Mahaveli River, which I snakes around the 60- hectare gardens. Before its use as Botanical gardens it had served as a royal pleasure garden. Peradeniya is the second largest botanical garden in Asia.
Kandy city – Kandy is the English name for the city of Maha Nuvara (Senkadagalapura) in the centre of Sri Lanka. It lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is one of the most scenic cities in Sri Lanka; it is both an administrative and religious city.
Day 07 Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya for 2 nights.
Sightseeing around Nuwara Eliya, waterfalls and Mountain Views.

Day 08 Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast visiting Hakgala Botanical garden.
Botanic Gardens at Hakgala were established in 1861 for the purpose of experimentation and promotion of Cinchona cultivation in Sri Lanka. The gardens lying in the hill country among Sri Lanka’s tea plantations in the Nuwara Eliya district are located along the Badulla Road, 9.5 km South-east of Nuwara Eliya, the popular holiday resort.
Day 09 Yala
After breakfast proceed to Yala. Afternoon Safari at Yala National Park.
Yala National Park – Yala Block 1 has one of the highest densities of Leopards in the world. Yala therefore offers one of the best chances in Asia to see leopards. Other large animals you may see include Elephants, Sloth Bear, Mugger Crocodile, Spotted dear, Sambhur, Barking Dear, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo, Jackal, Greay Langur monkey and Mongoose. Birding highlights include Malabar Pied Hornbill, Painted Stork, Lesser Adjutant, Black Necked Stork and etc.
Day 10 Mirissa
After breakfast proceed to Mirissa via Hambanthota for 2 nights.
Mirissa and its breathtaking sandy beach pretty much transform your dreams and visions of a tropical paradise into an everyday reality. Located close to the Southern tip of the Island of Sri Lanka and only about 200 km from the Equator, this secluded crescent shaped beach is the perfect place to sit back, relax and forget about all the hussle and bussle of your other life that’s a million miles away.
Day 11 Mirissa
Beach stay at Mirissa.
Day 12 Colombo
After breakfast leave for Colombo enroot visit Dutch fort in Galle, Hikkaduwa, turtle hatchery. Dinner and overnight stay at Colombo.
Day 13 Colombo
After breakfast City Tour in Colombo.
Day 14 Airport
Drop off at the airport for departure flight.
